We took the weekend to celebrate with Jason. On Thursday he took and passed his test and is done with his ER rotation so we had some partying to do! Saturday we loaded our car with our beach stuff and our bikes and headed towards the coast. We went on a family bike ride on a path alongside the Gulf and then we spent some time playing on the beach and in the water.

Spring breakers are here in full force. There were so many boats out on the water.
At the end of the trail the sky bridge can be seen in the distance.
Jack was anxious to get to the beach. He started running ahead of us on this path. He saw the big tree at the end, stopped and asked "Is this the path to Jesus?" A couple of weeks ago for FHE we talked about the tree of life. Apparently this tree looked like the one in the picture. Jason remarked how Jackson DOES listen to us sometimes. We ask Jack if he is listening to us at least 15 times a day, so it is nice to know some things are getting through.
I kept taking pictures and just watching Jack thinking who is this little boy.
He really has had a huge growth spurt just in this last month. He is losing his baby fat and that belly and boy can this little guy can talk. The vocabulary he has and the stories that he tells. It really is quite something to see what a little man he is becoming. I don't know how many times I turned to Jason exclaiming in shock how big he is getting. Doesn't he just look so big?

After we left the beach we went in search of this shaved ice place called Sno balls. We had visited on one of our trips when Pat and Seth were in town. We went on the hunt for it and found it but there was quite the line and no parking. There was this cute ice cream shop next door with easy access parking so we decided we wanted ice cream anyways. We were glad we tried this spot they had the most unique ice cream flavors and a nice quiet place to enjoy our ice cream.

I love capturing these wonderful days out as our little family on video. When I watch them it brings back the feelings that I had. Especially the ones at the end of the day when I find myself sighing with content and thinking "That was a perfect day."
