Big news!
We are building a house!
We have been looking at houses ever since we moved. We knew that we wanted to build. Jason doesn't have the time to really fix up a house and I do not have the energy. Plus new is always better for my health, allergies and so on. While we were in Utah Jason went on overdrive checking out potential locations and houses. After we got home Jason took me to some model homes just five minutes away from where we live now. We walked into this one model home and I fell in love with the floor plan. Jason loved it too and there was a superhero room so Jack was sold.
Mom and Dad have come out several times to help us with the decision. It was great to have them to ask questions that we wouldn't have thought of. Plus it was fun hearing dad talk about all the things we could do design wise to enhance the house. Dad also was good at checking out everything!
We got to pick out our lot. We are the first one in on our block so we had free range with our color choice and elevation. Plus we are right across from the pool.

After signing all our papers we headed to celebrate the Mormon way(as my dad put it) over milkshakes.
This last week we got to go to the design center and pick everything out. It was so much fun.
Jason and I celebrated all our choices over frozen yogurt.
It's been a dream. I go to bed thinking about the house and our future in it.
It's something to know that we will own land in Florida.
