Saturday our day began at the pool. This set the rest of the tone for all of our mornings at the hotel. They all started with swimming. It was a fun pool and Jack loves to play in the water.
Sweet Jack brought me and Nana flowers to put in our hair.
After we were done swimming, well we were done Jack could have stayed all day, we headed to check out Ft. Lauderdale beach. My great Grandma Russell used to live in a condo a block away from the  beach. Granddad wanted us to see it and gave us directions and a map to find it. Mom recognized it after all these years even with all the changes. It was fun to hear the stories of her time spent there visiting.
Sweet Granddad sent us with some money to go have a fun lunch and boy did we find the place to have it. We ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. Jason and I love Forrest Gump. It is one of our favorite movies, we quote it all the time. We have said there is a quote for every situation in life from that movie. The restaurant in covered with quotes, pictures and all thing all related to Forrest Gump. Plus it was the best seafood. We were in heaven.
Jason and his magic shoes, they'll take him anywhere.
The specialty drink menus were on ping pong paddles, Run Forrest Run signs on the table to get the waiters attention, quotes on the table and all around the restaurant, even Jenny was present in a big way.
"That's my boat." Jack's kids meal came in a Jenny boat!
The best thing about being at Bubba Gumps is all the ice cream you can eat.
It was a really hot day and so we didn't spend much time at the beach but it was such a beautiful place I loved all the skinny palm trees and the white sand.
Dad mentioned how he loved to see the shadow of the palm trees,I agree with him especially ones in the white sand.
The afternoon was a busy one we drove around had naps, Pat and Seth flew in and arrived right before Jason and I left to attend his graduation dinner. It was fun to get to have a night out on the town with  Jason knowing Jack was in capable hands with both sets of Grandparents.
When we got back to the hotel Jack was passed out from all the fun he had with them.
