Jason Update

This semester for Jason has been so different from the last one. He is home almost every night and has even had the time to go on weekly bike rides and to play basketball with the "guys". This has made it feel like summer and there is less stress in our house these days. Since he is only a month away from starting his rotations this semester he has had some hands on training,  For example.
One day he came home from school with a cast on his arm. When he first walked in the door I freaked out but then remembered they were working on casting that day. Here he is with his very first cast.
 Convincing huh?
Except for the fact it was way too huge for his arm and it was cut down the back.

We had that thing around the house for a while but it was kinda gross so I threw it away. Picture documentation will just have to work. He has also been working on placing IV's, drawing blood and suturing. They do not practice on each other at school they have these creepy dummy arms that they work on. He came home the other day with his suture kit and I wanted to see his new skill.

Here he is stitching this stabbed lemon. He wanted an orange supposedly it is more like the skin but this is what I had on hand.
Just again more things to help make his point that he is kinda a big deal around here.

Oh and a Jack update?
Well he has been busy acting like he is king around here.

Which is very convincing by the way.
