Jake confirmed Meredith in Sacrament on Sunday and it was the most beautiful blessing. It was so wonderful to see her surrounded by all those worthy men receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, The Great Comforter. Jack and I were sitting on the end of the row and Jake and Meredith were on the other end it was fun to keep taking a peek at them because they were both smiling ear to ear and Meredith was glowing.

After we all had naps, relaxing and being together we headed to the restaurant to have Sunday dinner. The Missionaries were coming and there was not enough room at the house. One of the benefits of having a Exec. Chef in the family we got to use one of the nice rooms at the restaurant.
We got to see the menu. Since the restaurant is called Scholars Inn the menus come in books. It was fun to read Jake's creations and the descriptions underneath each dish. It is hard not living by each other we have little idea all that he does. He comes up will all those dishes on the menu and it changes often.
Then the food came we had duck, seafood, pork with all sorts of different potatoes in those cute little pots. Then for dessert we had red velvet and basil infused ice cream with beignetes and cream.
As always I had to take picture of his eatable art.
It was so delicious.
It was fun to watch the faces of the Missionaries and how fast their plates were emptied.
Talk about a wonderful Sunday dinner to end a wonderful day.
