Pool Days

The only way to spend these hot muggy days is to spend it in the pool. Jack has become quite the little fish just in the last couple of days. He had no interest in swimming until we had a party and he saw his friends doing it. From there we got him the equipment and he has taken off. It is wonderful.

We started out with the floaty vest that we already had just to see if he was willing to do it his own. 

It worked!

 He got the confidence that he needed even to jump into the pool with it on.

Since he did so well he was upgraded.

 He even has been using the snorkel.

Some other good times we have had at the pool this summer.

We had a swim party with some friends. They were a great example to Jack on how fun it is to swim

Of course there are always snacks and the occasional lunch picnic.

 What a life.

He is really in to "thumbs up" These days. I am just relieved he is finally wanting to swim so now we can sign up for swimming lessons! That is definitely worth two thumbs up!
